SETI, the hypothesis that perhaps they are looking in the wrong place, SETI has been tracking extraterrestrial signals for a long time and its priority is to search for those star systems that look like ours.

We know that there is a technological civilization in the galaxy, it is ours, so if there is another one, as much as possible, since there are about 400 million stars like the Sun in the galaxy, it would have developed in a star similar to the Sun. SETI's priority is to search for and track radio messages and other types of techno signatures around stars similar to the Sun. the Renaissance in Europe.

Not needing to develop technology that emits powerful radio signals, because that is the key, our television and radio signals do not travel very far and in order for SETI to capture a radio signal it has to be very powerful.

Where should I look for SETI? SETI should perhaps look at those that do need to communicate and I am referring to systems like the Sun, like ours, but that have, for example, a star like Betelgeuse next to them that is about to explode or systems that are in an extremely dangerous area, because those systems are going to be desperate to send a message and try to contact them to find a solution to their problem.
