Trip to Mae Hong Son

Dear friends,

In this morning, I left Chiang Mae for Mae Hong Son with a motorbike. I arrived Mae Hong Son at around 3.00 PM. I stopped at four or five places on the way. I drove up and down the mountains; the road was smooth so I didn't find it much difficult to drive. There are two routes that I could go to Mae Hong Son from Chian Mai and I chose the route that passed through Pai, which was a town on a mountain. It was sunny out there but I found I was driving through forest shades and didn't get contact with sunlight. Only when I approached Mae Hong Son, I had to go through many fields.

And in the evening, I visited the night market there and the pagoda and monastery nearby in Wat Chong Klang. The night market was held around the Chong Kham lake and I had dinner at the side of the lake.

Those were some of the activities for today.
