Hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes lo que vivimos el viernes 6 de febrero en la unidad educativa Josefina Rojas Lovera. Ese día los estudiantes de la cátedra de percusión de la escuela de Música Angel Briceño ofrecieron una presentación muy especial dedicada a los Pelegrinos que estaban de visita en la institución. Esta publicación corresponde a la segunda parte de esa presentación, realizada bajo la dirección del profesor Jesús Salvatierra, quien guió a los jóvenes con mucha paciencia y entusiasmo. Yo grabé el video con mi teléfono redmi A5 para poder conservar ese recuerdo.
Today I want to share with you what we experienced on Friday, February 6th at the Josefina Rojas Lovera Educational Unit. On that day, the students of the percussion class from the Angel Briceño Music School offered a very special performance dedicated to the Pilgrims who were visiting the institution. This post corresponds to the second part of that presentation, carried out under the direction of Professor Jesús Salvatierra, who guided the young students with great patience and enthusiasm. I recorded the video with my Redmi A5 phone to keep this memory alive.
Lo más bonito de esta segunda parte fue la creatividad. Los estudiantes no usaron instrumentos musicales tradicionales, sino vasos y las palmas de sus manos para interpretar la melodía de una canción reconocida. Con esos elementos sencillos lograron un sonido alegre y contagioso que llenó el ambiente de emoción. Cada golpe de palma y cada movimiento con los vasos se convirtió en música, demostrando que el talento puede surgir de lo más simple cuando hay pasión y unión.
The most beautiful aspect of this second part was the creativity. The students did not use traditional musical instruments, but instead cups and the palms of their hands to perform the melody of a well-known song. With those simple elements, they created a joyful and contagious sound that filled the atmosphere with emotion. Every clap and every movement with the cups turned into music, showing that talent can arise from the simplest things when there is passion and unity.
Los Pelegrinos disfrutaron mucho la presentación y aplaudieron con entusiasmo. Se notaba en sus rostros la alegría de recibir ese gesto tan auténtico. Los estudiantes, por su parte, se sintieron orgullosos de mostrar lo que habían preparado y de ver cómo su esfuerzo fue valorado.
The Pilgrims greatly enjoyed the performance and applauded enthusiastically. Their faces reflected the joy of receiving such an authentic gesture. The students, in turn, felt proud to present what they had prepared and to see how their effort was appreciated.
Este momento nos recuerda que la música está en todas partes y que puede nacer de lo más sencillo. Bajo la guía del profesor Jesús Salvatierra, los jóvenes demostraron que con creatividad y trabajo en equipo se pueden lograr cosas maravillosas. Para mí fue un honor grabar este instante y compartirlo aquí, porque refleja el espíritu de nuestra comunidad: alegría, talento y ganas de seguir creciendo.
This moment reminds us that music is everywhere and can be born from the simplest things. Under the guidance of Professor Jesús Salvatierra, the young students showed that with creativity and teamwork, wonderful things can be achieved. For me, it was an honor to record this moment and share it here, because it reflects the spirit of our community: joy, talent, and the desire to keep growing.
