The fish is to try and scare away the deer or whatever was eating my strawberries.
I think it working.
There is nothing better than fresh food from my garden. It’s a small garden but I’m hoping next spring I can really expand it. I want to grow some more veggies and get raspberries again.

Great photos as usual! We had strawberry plants in the backyard when I was growing up. It's so nice to have fresh strawberries you can pick and eat. So much better than at the grocery store.
I had forgotten how bad strawberries are in the grocery store. Makes me wonder about all the other fruit.
Same here! We got some a few weeks ago and they have almost no flavor. It does make you wonder about the other fruit (and vegetables) in the stores.
I still get the odd berry from my garden, it's mostly propagating runners for new strawberry plants. 🍓
I'll have more plants next year.
