Waiting for Mount Everest Behind the Clouds

Well, I have never been a morning person, but yes, I have also delivered newspapers for 2 years in my life, for which I used to wake up at 3:30 in the morning. This routine continued till my 11th and 12th class. After delivering the newspapers, I used to go to school and just sleep, for which the teacher used to scold me every day. Now I feel that because of these 2 years, I no longer feel like waking up early in the morning.

So today's photos are of Sandakphu, the highest peak of West Bengal, which is 3636 meters high. A 65 km long race was going on here, for which I had to manage the runners on this peak. Since it has been raining for the last 2 days, everything was packed, the clouds had covered the valley like a sheet.

I was hoping that I would be able to see 3-4 pics at an altitude of 8 thousand meters, but the bad weather did not let this happen. Let me tell you that from here the world's highest peak Mount Everest, Lohtse, Makalu and Kanchenjunga peaks are visible. In the name of view, I could only see the rising sun. The Sun God appeared while making his place somewhere among the dark clouds. After this view, I was hoping to see something but it did not happen.

I woke up at 04:30 in the morning and remained on the top of this peak till 10 am, when my work was over at 10 am, I started walking down towards Rimbik village. Where the runners had started finishing. This is all in today's blog, I will meet you again tomorrow with a new place.
