Hello photography lovers. Long time no see, and there are a few things that changed in my life.
First of all, I am a home owner now. My wife and I bought a tiny townhouse close to the center of the spa town of Baden bei Wien.
Second we are now in debt. Looking at our bankaccount with a 6 figure amount in the red is a bit stressful at times, on the other hand we pay less for our mortgage than we paid as rent.
3rd my rheumathoid arthrithis did not really get better, but there are stilla lot of medications I can try. It is a little frustrating though because even the task of creating content for HIVE is hard to tackle. My wrists hurt and my fingers too. My right elbow is weak, and even carrying a plate in my right hand creates severe pain. I am not taking any meds for the pain as I don't want to add more strain on my liver, as it is under constant attack by the meds I am taking anyways.

Baden is beautiful
And I can prove it. I took a bunch of photos during our walks through the city. It is also the time of a huge photo exhibition called the La Gacilly Baden. All over the city you can find photographic gems and awersome placement of photos. The parks the walls of houses turned into exhibition spaces.
Let us jump right into my photodump as I already talked too much.
this first picture is from the park right behind our house. It is part of the exhibition by Joel Meyerowitz an award winning photographer whose work has appeared in over 350 exhibitions around the world.
You can find his exhibition in the Gutenbrunner Park close to the Baden city center.
Just a few minutes walk from the Gutenbrunner Park you find the Doblhoff Park with its famous Rosarium and of course this is also an awesome backdrop for photographs. This exhibition is the one of Tamara Dean and the title of it is the Search for garden Eden. The title of the image: The suspended moment.
The rest of the images I show you ist just some random ones I took on the walk through the rosarium.
A peek into an abandoned hotel lobby at the north end of the park.
And of course there are a bunch of roses int a rosarium too ;)
As always thank you so much for your attention. Thanks for your votes! And foremost thanks for your comments!

Congrats for buying a house! Big move!
This is the first time I've heard of Baden and just looked it up! Looks really peaceful!
Hope you can find the right meds soon! Rheumathoid arthrithis is no joke!
Thanks a lot. Yeah it is very peaceful here and Vienna is just a 20 minute train ride away.
That's awesome! I hate having to drive all the time! Wish we had train in my city! I hate buses haha!
Oh, maybe some unpleasant things will happen, but working on peace and stability is also so beneficial. I hope you recover soon from your health issues and that you're enjoying this process and stressful mortgage payment. Soon, it will all be part of the stories to tell. A great look and take of these paintings. These photographs are truly wonderful.
Thanks a lot, yeah we will have this number paid of in no time.
For real, Baden is a beautiful place!
