In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

Starting in May, I started to create a playlist to keep track of the last songs I commented on in my posts. It will be useful for me not to doubt if I had already talked about a song before or not. The last song is ¿Qué es dios? of the argentine group Las Pastillas del Abuelo

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Freed from Desire of Gala, Molella and Phil Jay.

In these days, we are celebrating the new format of the Club World Cup where impressive matches are taking place, where South American teams are defeating the strong teams from Europe. I wanted to take advantage of this song to bring back a song that is strongly linked to soccer.

My choice today is the song Freed from Desire by Gala, Molella and Phil Jay. It was selected as the theme song for the Club World Cup, and it's not hard to understand why. On social networks like Twitter and Instagram, it has gone viral: its catchy melody has everyone humming it nonstop.

There are many cases of songs that have become very famous thanks to soccer competitions. We can talk about the traditional Champions League song, the opening anthem of several World Cups such as Shakira's Waka Waka in South Africa 2010, or Ricky Martin's La Copa de la Vida, which marked the 1998 World Cup in France and became a soccer classic.

"Freed From Desire" is a song performed by Gala, an Italian singer who achieved international fame in the 1990s with this dance hit. For the 2025 Club World Cup, a new version was released with Italian DJs Molella and Phil Jay, who updated the sound while maintaining the original essence. Thanks to its great reception and contagious energy, it was chosen as the official theme for the 2025 Club World Cup.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
