What can I say? Life has been quite busy for us! This entire year was full, loud and filled with new feelings and to do lists.
Lately, between the kids, daily routines, and the change of seasons, our days have been running fast, trying to keep up with all the energy the little ones have. Autumn always brings a mix of new tasks: swapping summer clothes for cozy sweaters, fall garden harvest, soil prep for next year and outdoor cleaning.
Anyways, here's the thing! If there's something I was consistent with in the last few months, was to go outdoors with my sons, buy mainly with my eldest one, Caleb.
He's almost seven and he needs as much outdoor play as possible.
All Summer and Fall, we went to the city park, bycicle or scooter riding, gardening, playing in our yard, etc ; (anything that involves staying outside the house).
I think Strong, Healthy and Happy Kids start with Outdoor Play.
Caleb loves going to Aventura Parks.
He loves climbing on those high ropes and bridges and he has such a huge satisfaction to finish the trace! As many as possible!
Having a small child, I cant go too far from home. I love the comfort of our home and driving roads with small kids are terrible. I get super tired, they get super tired. I prefer to opt for short distances and find cool places near home.
So, after all the busy days at home, we decided to spend a sunny afternoon at the adventure park, one hour drive from home. Caleb was so excited to climb and explore! He was all over the moon! It was a surprise because I didnt say where we're going.
This adventure park was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and it felt amazing to see the kids running, trying new things, and enjoying every challenge at the park.

This Adventure Park is located in Herneacova, near Timisoara (the largest city in Western Romania and the third largest city by population in our country).
It's called Domeniile Herneacova. The domain is a large outdoor complex combining nature, adventure and family friendly activities.
You’ll find:
- an adventure park with activities like zip‑lines (for kids and adults).
- areas for horse riding/equestrian centre, trails, nature walks.
- a restaurant, accommodation options, rustic environment—all suitable for a family outing.
This season, the enter is free but if you want to try the adventure park area, it costs around €15/$20.

Going with kids in such a place is a fun outdoor activity where both kids and adults can explore, climb, and try new activities in a safe environment. I love the challenges they offer, from rope courses and climbing walls to zip lines and obstacle trails.
This way, kids stay active and play while buildind confidence and trying new skills.
This day was amazing! Seeing my kid ecstatic made my day, really! And the feeling stayed with me for days!

Well, I'm sure you get my point. There's no need for too much theory on how being active and having fun outdoors make kids healthy and happy. It's natural! They need outdoors experiences to grow healthy, in and out.

I was very happy to see you and your child playing sports because nowadays, every child seems to be sitting with a mobile laptop or other information technology device, but seeing your child playing in nature should inspire every child and their parents.
