Music in the Digital Age; Has Anything Changed?

Sometime ago I was writing a post for the community and I remembered talking a little bit about modern music and the traditional music. Today's post will highlight the few differences I can note from the ancient music and the digital music.

The world has become more digital and therefore music has evolved and passed some levels we were playing before. The theme for this weeks prompt asked us to highlight those changes and I will start by talking about professionality.

Back in the days, they didn't care so much to study music as our fore parents were centred on what they can do and just move the public to a state of excitement, many people danced to just the rhythm of music and never cared to pay attention to other basic ingredients of a quality music. It did made music more simple and less complex for them than the way it has turned out to be in our generation today.

You could literally see the band dwelling on a song for over five hours trying to score the song to standard, some of the songs we're having nowadays, five hours won't still be enough to score everything to standard, although it's depends who is scoring the song. The more skillful and rooted you are in music, the more you solve complex issues related to music in the modern days because music has gone beyond just getting inspired then recording, there's allot to check out for in making music in the modern days compared to the olden days.

Allot has changed in the music industries as well; we now have music managements, those who work with you and are responsible for filtering every information before it gets to you plus, make all necessary preparation to ensure you have a smooth music career. These doesn't exist before, infact our fore parents don't have idea on what's called record label although they might be doing something almost similar to that, I am pretty sure they've missed out on so many things regarding how a record lebel operates and what it stands for. The exposure to knowledge about music has let us to the modern way to manage music at a gross level and also average level.

Talking about music in the modern age you know I can't wrap this up without talking about our recent musical equipments, from the music instruments down to other appliances we use in the musical world today. Recently I got to see some few digital mixers and how they operate, sincerely it was mind-blowing because everything was computerized and requires less efforts to fix a good sound.

We have electrical drums for smooth beats without having to full all the place with drums specially in a studio settings. Music in the modern days have become so wild and impeccable, music is now a world on its own that you can never get done studying. We now have music has courses in school where the theoretical aspect of it is greatly passed across students of in college. Learning truly never stops because as long as you are exploring and learning music, you can never get done learning it even when you try harder.

Where the whole development baffles me about music is the musical conflict/crises we are facing in the musical world. The musical conflict we are facing in our world today has outraged that of history tbt. It's just like the more we get advance into the musical world, the more those issues pop up in one direction or the other. Musical conflict can happen between a band, producers with artistes, record lebels with their artistes, show organizers with artistes. These sager used to happened before but it's on another level in our present generation. Musical sager is very common nowadays specially when you're dealing with allot of persons in that musical circle.

I wouldn't want to dwell so much on the musical sager stuff because it's something we are all seeing in our physical world today. The high intends to monetize music today has let to so many issues in the music world, envy, jealousy, hatred, massive competition all resulting into diverse musical scandal.

But as it is, we can never go back in the times because of the negative side of technology in our world. It's a general problem and we'll continue to deal with it in our capacities as we move forward into other levels..
