RE: A Letter to the Zombies

Oh my god, writing about the same thing :))) I think the only people thinking they're slick rn and not being properly worried about AI are those who think they're using it to their benefit (and as such are outsmarting the whole AI issue). Think again, bro. Right now, you are still able to use AI to earn some money and build some kind of business or else streamline your work in some way, but it's a ticking timebomb and it will go off, whether you think you're clever or not.

I'll look for this extension. Astonishing (and shocking) how quickly AI search results have taken over most browsers. Thanks for drawing my attention to this!

No worries. Its weird as I'm not sure I like it... It feels like out of time a little. I'd rather a big red heading or some kind of symbol so I can definitely see it's AI and therefore not bother clicking on it.

Every piece of AI writing is so noticeable to me. Same structure. There's a heap of them popping up in my Facebook feed, "articles" that tell stories of people's lives. I want to read about these interesting histories but I can't stomach HOW they are written.

whether you think you're clever or not.

This also irritates me. People who think they're clever about it but can't see the bigger picture.

It's such a cancer on the digital landscape. Makes me so sad.

It's often the plight of such people who think they're cleverer than they actually are, and often end up the first caught up in the tidal wave, when it comes. They don't put bold red letters on because they're still in the process of normalizing it, I think...
