Desde niña siempre fui fan de estar rodeada de animales, sobre todo de perros y gatos. Mi abuelita tenía muchos, por lo que amaba visitarla a menudo para poder acariciarlos y jugar con ellos. Así que crecí con ese amor y conexión hacia las mascotas. De pequeña hasta adolescente y universitaria, tuve perritos en casa. Luego emigré y no sabía cuando iba a volver a tener la dicha de tener una mascota. Inesperadamente, llegó Galeón a mi vida. Al principio no quería tenerlo porque es una gran responsabilidad, muchos cuidados e inversión de dinero y gastos. Sentía mucha ansiedad y miedo. Y esas emociones se sienten más cuando ya no vives con mamá y ella no se puede hacer cargo mientras tú no estás. Sin embargo, mi hermana insistió tanto en adoptarlo, que al final cuando lo conocí, lo amé de principio a fin. Galeón ya tiene un año, va para dos este mes, y no hay día que no agradezca por tenerlo en mi día a día. Ha sido un excelente compañero. Es un perrito activo, dulce, cariñoso, juguetón, y el mejor viajero cuando va en auto o en avión.
Te amo tanto, mi Galeón . Doy gracias a Dios porque estás con nosotras ahora, y anhelo que podamos vivir muchas más experiencias maravillosas junto a ti🩵

Since I was a child, I have always loved being surrounded by animals, especially dogs and cats. My grandmother had many, so I loved visiting her often to pet and play with them. So I grew up with that love and connection to pets. From childhood through my teenage years and college, I had dogs at home. Then I moved away and didn't know when I would have the joy of having a pet again. Unexpectedly, Galeón came into my life. At first, I didn't want to have him because it's a big responsibility, a lot of care, and an investment of money and expenses. I felt a lot of anxiety and fear. And those emotions are felt more when you no longer live with your mom and she can't take care of him while you're away. However, my sister insisted so much on adopting him that when I finally met him, I loved him from the start. Galeón is already one year old, turning two this month, and there isn't a day that goes by that I'm not grateful to have him in my life. He has been an excellent companion. He is an active, sweet, affectionate, playful dog, and the best traveler when he goes by car or plane.
I love you so much, my Galeón. I thank God that you are with us now, and I hope that we can have many more wonderful experiences together🩵
