Here we still are approaching 10 years on this blockchain. The active community is not massive, but it is diverse. It's not just crypto geeks. As you say, there are issues, but when anyone can post anything that is inevitable. I focus on positive stuff like encouraging others.
I ran some queries and can see that 290 of your followers at least voted this year and 145 posted or commented. That does not seem too bad really. Crypto prices are down generally and $HIVE has always struggled. We have utility here with lots of things to do, so it ought to be more attractive, especially in the crypto community. People should not be relying on centralised corporate platforms.
There are still a fair few of the 'old guard' around here and I think that is largely down to it being fun if you engage with people. It is my main outlet for online stuff.

290 out of 2000 isn't bad I guess. I was hoping for higher, but I'll take it. The fun factor definitely helps, if it wasn't fun, nobody would be here. It's the main thing that brings me back time and time again.
10 years for any alt to survive is a long time. 10 years and to still have an active community and regular development is also a huge milestone in itself.

For me it's 1311 out of 7279 which is better than I expected. I think a lot of accounts are just on auto-voting. These days I just gain a couple of followers each week on average.
I've been on a few platforms that didn't last this long. We have plenty of witnesses keeping it going and lots of options to access it.
Yes, I've noticed a lot of that also.
You really put in the work, you deserve those numbers and then some. Always commenting, always quality, always genuine, always showing up! That's what it takes to grow on here.
