I smile whenever I remember.

Hello everyone, welcome to hive naija weekly activities.I am @quin.lizzy and today I will be writing about the day that made me smile when ever I remember that day.I will be writing about my "matriculation" day.

It was indeed a peaceful Friday,waking up all happy and preparing for my day.My roommate and I made breakfast ate and we dressed ourselves,when it was almost time we went to school.

Arriving to school, federal university lafia,we saw so many student with their friends and family that came to celebrate with them on their special day,I was not disturb that none of my family member were present cause my friends actually fill in the void.

After prayers and taking of oath,we were encouraged and the occasion came to an end.We began to take pictures,the school was so crowded with different students putting on different color of matric gown according to his or her faculty.We in faculty of sciences wore green and black and the color is indeed giving.

My parents suppressed me with the coming of my brother,I was just with friends when my brother called and said he was in school gate waiting for me,I felt so loved and I left the school arena to go meet up with him,we indeed took pictures and left for home.

He came with a lot of drinks and food,as a foodie that I am,this part is one of the best part of that day,I ate to my satisfaction and had to spear part for my neighbor in the lodge. Indeed I missed my mother delicious meal and when I had the opportunity to eat,I made sure I ate to my satisfaction,she really prepared the meal with love,even though she wasn't present,I was so happy that I had a memorial and happy moment.

My aunt also came around,though she couldn't make it to school,she came home and we celebrated together,we took pictures and we laughed all through the day.One of the funniest thing was that during all this celebration,we went to school without our keys,my other aunt who just graduated was with key, after coming back,my roommate has to go meet her to get the key from her,we waited outside till she arrived.

After that we made fun of how we were waiting to eat our meal in peace.Anytime I remember that day I always smile because of the people and family that made it so special to me.My friends who could not make it posted my picture wishing and praying for the very best in my life.My father also called and wish me a happy matriculation.

I was and am still glad that I was happy,, surrounded by People that I love and care for,I didn't attend any after party but it was all good.My family and friends means a lot to me and with them in my life, there will be a particular moment that I will smile everyday.
