y name is Francis Mundo and I am a simple young man from Kenya, specifically from the beautiful city of Mombasa. I'm 29 years old and I live with my small family of six: my father, my mother, my brother, and two sisters and we love together so much.

Since I was young I helped my father with farming and we worked together in the land planting and harvesting and that was our life for a long time. But as time passed and with the difficult economic conditions in the country so I felt I needed to look for a new path to open for myself to improve my life and help my family further.

Basically we were from a village and later we move to city. I get my early qualification like matric from our village and I was a brilliant student. I also get scholarship in matric which leads in form of laptop. Later I moved to government degree girls college from where I get my inter qualification. In which I get 93% is marks. And again I get scholarship which helped me for university level studies. What the problem was that there was no University in our village, so I did Graduation from same government collage. I did Masters from Faisalabad University. And later I did B.ed from Allama Iqbal Open university by virtual classes.

I want to tell you a little about myself, I am 26 and a half years old. I am a university technician in Administration mentioning HR, currently I am studying Administration mentioning Marketing and you may wonder why study administration again but in another mention? It's a long story but I will summarize it for you. I graduated from TSU at the age of 20 and by that time I just wanted to have a university degree since the career I wanted to study was not available in my city, so I opted for another one and although I did not like it, I gave it all and got my degree.

Growing up, I witnessed the hardship my parents faced raising nine children from where to acquire food, clothing, and money. I didn’t experience luxury when I was little neither my siblings. I can vividly remember what we ate before – sweet potato for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rice is rarely served because my parents need money to save for this. But then, it’s not a problem for me because I enjoyed simple living. The life before being a kid was all about fun – I don’t think about worries or problems. What I wanted is to play with my friends where everything seemed new and exciting. I can remember the time when we swam to the river with my classmates, carefree, and happy. Back then, we don’t feel shame nor insecurity.

Years ago, my entrepreneurial journey kicked off with a software company called PaloSanto. It was my first venture, my leap into building something on my own. The lessons from that experience shaped the course of my life.
