I know English well enough, but as you may or may not know, IELTS is a certificate and it has resources and you take an exam according to those resources, and this certificate is enough to get a PhD, but until you practice enough or, better yet, are you in a situation where you can speak or write, you cannot have enough control in communicating and you will forget. For clarity and complete understanding, I use Google Translate.
And I edit it myself
And second point: If you use AI and don't mention it, you'll get into trouble. Of course, I hope that doesn't happen, my friend 👨⚕️🤚
I was referring to the use of AI, not the English, but nevermind, it was a rethorical question, we know the answer.

It’s not about education or language.
It is about education.
If you indeed have a PhD, you should know everything that is not yours, has to be disclosed. Otherwise you can lose your degree (your job too) and can even face criminal charges.
