**Blessed instant, I am very happy to start in this kind Hive community, my name is Jessie Katherine Contreras Lobo, Integral Artist, and today I come to tell you my story, come and meet me** 😄

Bendito instante, estoy muy feliz de iniciarme en esta amable comunidad Hive, mi nombre es Jessie Katherine Contreras Lobo, Artista Integral, y hoy vengo a contarte mi historia, acompáñame a conocerme 😄

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on January 17, 1984, with the light of the full moon, my grandmother María de Los Reyes told me. From an early age, I have had a very awake sensibility, I grew up surrounded by music, strokes, colors, lines, shapes, drawings...

Nací en Caracas, Venezuela, un 17 de Enero de 1984,con la Luz de la Luna Llena contaba mi abuela María de Los Reyes. Desde temprana edad, he tenido la sensibilidad muy despierta, crecí rodeada de música, trazos, colores, líneas, formas, dibujos...

My mom, Gypsy Magaly Lobo Montilla, Sociologist and Drawing enthusiast; my dad, Kiko (Francisco) Contreras Vergara, Music Producer and broadcaster with a boom in the 70's, 80's and 90's; both from Merida, Andean by birth. My sister, Mavie, Architect and my brother, Frank, Industrial Designer; from all of them I inherited a different artistic side, and I am very thankful for it!

Mi mamá, Gypsy Magaly Lobo Montilla Sociólogo y aficionada al Dibujo; mi papá, Kiko (Francisco) Contreras Vergara, Productor Musical y locutor con auge en los 70's, 80's y 90's; ambos Merideños, Andinos de nacimiento. Mi hermana, Mavie, Arquitecto y mi hermano, Frank, Diseñador Industrial; de todos heredé una parte artística diferente, y lo agradezco muchísimo!!!

As a child I preferred markers, colors and paints rather than dolls and toys; wherever I went, I took with me my art kit and my Walkman, I awoke a talent for technical drawing, from watching my sister making her architectural plans and models, she is 15 years ahead of me, she is my great example. I am also an innate creator of Letterings that I used to give to my friends, use them in school works and billboards, and it was by watching my brother, who is 12 years older than me, design and illustrate that I got that talent. My brothers were key inspirations to choose my professional career: I studied Illustration, in 2002, I started my career at the IDC Institute of Design in Caracas, were 3 years of intensity and dedication, where I felt like a fish in water, enjoying every second and all the subjects of his wonderful pémsum. 

De niña prefería marcadores, colores y pinturas antes que muñecas y juguetes; donde quiera que iba, llevaba conmigo mi kit de arte y mi Walkman, desperté talento para el Dibujo Técnico, de ver a mi hermana haciendo sus planos y maquetas arquitectónicas, ella me lleva 15 años, es mi gran ejemplo. También soy creadora innata de Letterings que regalaba a mis amigas y amigos, los usaba en trabajos y carteleras escolares, y fue viendo a mi hermano, quien me lleva 12 años, Diseñar e ilustrar de donde obtuve ese taleto. Mis hermanos fueron inspiraciones claves para elegir mi carrera profesional: estudié Ilustración, en el año 2002, inicié mi carrera en el IDC Instituto de Diseño de Caracas, fueron 3 años de intensidad y dedicación, donde me sentía como pez en agua, disfrutando de cada segundo y de todas las materias de su maravilloso pémsum.

At the same time, I worked as a Reggae/Ragga/Dancehall/HipHop/Drum'n'Bass Dj and as a hobby I also supported the production and voice-over of a radio program, La Comuna Kunta-Kinte, together with two legendary Reggae artists in Caracas, Raul Motabafana and George Dread, great friends and brothers. I was training in this way, in different areas of Las Artes and always reserving the necessary space for the classic mountain escapades, where I began to do routes alone, Sabas Nieves, Cachimbo, Estribo de Duarte are some of my favorite routes.  

A la par, me desempeñé como Dj de Reggae/Ragga/Dancehall/HipHop/Drum'n'Bass y como hobbie también apoyaba en la Producción y Locución de un programa radial, La Comuna Kunta-Kinte, junto a dos Legendarios del Reggae en Caracas, como lo son Raúl Motabafana y George Dread, grandes amigos y hermanos. Fuí formandome así, en diferentes áreas de Las Artes y reservando siempre el espacio necesario para las clásicas escapadas a la montaña, donde empecé a hacer rutas sola, por Sabas Nieves, Cachimbo, Estribo de Duarte son algunas de mis rutas favoritas.  

When I finished my academic studies, I worked for a year in a clothing factory, as a Graphic Designer, enjoying an office in the Design Department, I was in charge of the children's line of that brand and I was happy because I have always kept my inner child super awake and cheerful. There I met two great Sisters of Life, Diana and Alejandra, with whom I currently maintain a beautiful relationship, both Graphic Designers, one was in charge of the Ladies line and the other of Gentlemen. 

Al culminar los estudios académicos, laboré un año en una fábrica de ropa, como Diseñador Gráfico, disfrutando de una oficina en el Departamento de Diseño, me tocó llevar la línea infantil de esa marca y yo feliz pues siempre he mantenido mi niña interna super despierta y alegre. Allí conocí dos grandes Hermanas de Vida, Diana y Alejandra, con las que actualemnte mantengo linda relación, ambas Diseñadoras Gráfico, una llevaba la linea de Damas y la otra de Caballeros. 


They were very productive days, but also very routine, I always liked to walk in the mountains and with this job I had almost no time to do it. It was then when I felt a very strong inner call, a cry from my Ancestors calling me from my Roots, from my Beloved Andean Lands, cold moors, Nature and crops. Oooh yes, I quit my successful job, I bought a bicycle and I left in love, with the absolute certainty that it was the best moment to meet again with my mountains. 

Fueron días muy productivos, pero también muy rutinarios,  siempre me gustaba caminar en la montaña y con este trabajo no tenía casi tiempo para hacerlo. Fue entonces cuando sentí un llamado interno muy Fuerte, un grito de mis Ancestros llamándome desde mis Raíces, desde mis Amadas Tierras Andinas, Páramos fríos, Naturaleza y siembras. Oooh si! Renuncié a mi exitoso trabajo, me compré una bicicleta y me fuí enamorada, con la absoluta certeza de que era el mejor momento para reencontrarme con mis montañas. 

I lived with Pipo, great climber, high mountain guide, bmx cyclist, downhill and member of the Andean Rescue Group, my partner in Merida, located in a mountain by Plan del Morro, Hato Las Perez sector, a place that is on the road to the town of Los Nevados, located in the Sierra Nevada National Park, the best decision I could take in 2007 in the whole life. 😍 

Viví con Pipo, Gran Escalador, guía de Alta Montaña, Ciclista bmx, Downhillero y perteneciente al Grupo Andino de Rescate, mi compañero de caminos en Mérida, situados en una montaña por Plan del Morro, sector Hato Las Pérez, un lugar que queda en la vía hacia el pueblo de Los Nevados, ubicado en el Parque Nacional Sierra Nevada, la mejor desición que pude tomar en 2007 en la Vida entera. 😍 

There I learned from scratch about the beautiful country life, I lived the immense blessing of being able to plant the vegetables and fruits that fed me for 13 years in that space.

Allí aprendí desde cero sobre la hermosa vida de campo,  viví la inmensa bendición de poder sembrar los vegetales, frutas y hortalizas que me alimentaron por 13 años en ese espacio.

I learned to know its nature, its trees, its woods, in order to recognize which is the most suitable firewood to light our stoves that warmed us with so much love when the weather was so cold, rainy or all white and full of thick fog.My favorite wood is the Cínaro, with which I learned to stoke fires and cook delicious meals, it was a nice achievement to learn to lower the flame, for the rice to slow fire hehehehe. We had free and happy animals, such as parrots, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, puppies, cats and a monkey named Monkey Carmela. 

Aprendí a conocer su naturaleza, sus árboles, sus maderas, para así reconocer cuál es la leña más idónea para encender nuestros fogones que nos calentaron con tanto Amor cuando el clima era tan frío, lluvioso o todo blanco y lleno de neblina espesa. Mi madera favorita es el Cínaro, con la que aprendí a avivar fogones y a cocinar deliciosas comidas, fue un lindo logro aprender a bajar la llama, para el arroz a fuego lento jejeje. Tuvimos animales libres y felices, como loros, ovejas, chivos, gallinas, pavos, patos, perritos, gatos y una mona llamada Monkey Carmela. 

We built a house with the technique of adobe blocks, we made each block full of love for the land that sustains us, with a mold and also with a machine that compresses the mixture of clay soil and dry grass, fulfilling the drying process and when we had about 2000 accumulated, we raised the walls, roofed and gestated a beautiful family, from which two incredible beings were born, our children Magenta and Gneiss. 


Construímos una casa con la técnica de bloques de adobe, hicimos cada bloque llenito de amor por la tierra que nos sostiene, con un molde y tambíén con una máquina que comprime la mezcla de tierra arcillosa y pasto seco, cumpliendo el proceso de secado y cuando ya teníamos como 2000 acumulados, levantamos las paredes, techamos y gestamos una belleza de Familia, de la cual nacieron dos seres increíbles, nuestros hijos Magenta y Gneiss. 

 In 2019, I made a difficult decision after separating from my partner, to return with my children to the city of Caracas. I took a course to specialize as a professional in the world of tattoos, as it goes hand in hand being an illustrator, I bought my equipment and worked in a studio called SoleArtTatto Studio.It became a rebirth of my artistic facet, which was to reawaken that inheritance of family gifts, however ... there was an art that none of them developed, one that came with me as a child, very naturally, in my essence, DANCE.

En 2019, tomo una dificil decisión tras separarme de mi compañero, retornar junto a mis hijos a la cuidad de Caracas. Hice un curso para especializarme como Profesional en el Mundo de los Tatuajes, ya que va de la mano siendo Ilustradora, compré mis equipos y trabajé en un estudio llamado SoleArtTatto Studio. Se tornó un renacer de mi faceta Artística, que fue volver a despertar esa herencia de dones familiares, sin embargo... había un arte que ninguno de ellos desarrolló, uno que venía conmigo desde niña, con mucha naturalidad, en mi esencia, LA DANZA.

 In the year 2023, I started Contemporary Dance, Dance-Theater and YogaDance with the teacher Elio Martinez, in the Experimental Dance Workshop Pisorrojo, finding in that place a Sacred space, a Portal, towards a dimension that my mother had presented to me before Transcending this plane, when as a child she enrolled me in ballet, my dancing Soul understood a subtle language that I learned to decipher and right now I am taking it up again, to later express it with the only way my Being knows, through ART. ... of all the Arts: Drawings, Illustrations, Tattoos, Dance, Songs and Nature. We are vibration and we came to radiate. 

En el año 2023, inicié Danza Contemporánea, Danza-Teatro y YogaDanza junto al maestro Elio Martínez, en el Taller Experimental de Danza Pisorrojo, encontrando en ese lugar un espacio Sagrado, un Portal, hacia una dimensión que mi madre me había presentado antes de Trascender de este plano, cuando de niña ella me inscribió en ballet, mi Alma danzante entendió un lenguaje sutil que aprendí a decifrar y justo ahora lo estoy retomando, para después expresarlo con la única manera que conoce mi Ser, a través del ARTE... de tooodas las Artes: Dibujos, Ilustraciones, Tattoos, Danza, Cantos y Naturaleza. Somos vibración y vinimos a irradiar. 

In the Great Mother Nature I find inspiration, support and guidance. God is the Great Artist who creates so many perfect creations, in proportions, shapes, textures, aromas, color combinations, movements, sounds, flavors.

En la Gran Madre Naturaleza encuentro la inspiración, el sostén, la guía. Dios es el Gran Artista que realiza tantas creaciones perfectas, en proporciones, formas, texturas, aromas, combinaciones de colores, movimientos, sonidos, sabores.

Gracias a Hive, y esta nueva tribu por abrirme las puertas, les invito a seguirme, para que me acompañen a vivir el Arte desde una perspectiva más Espiritual y genuina, sostenida por nuestra Madre Tierra. eARTh 

Currently I organize art workshops for children and adults, it is the best way to honor this knowledge, sowing the artistic seed with Love to multiply and expand it to all Humanity.

Actualmente Organizo talleres de Arte para niños y adultos, es la mejor manera de honrar estos conocimientos, sembrando la semillita artística y con Amor para multiplicarla y expandirla a toda la Humanidad.
