Given the captain’s age and the blood he was losing, his head spun as he tried to steady himself on the bridge deck! But as the fore topgallant sail caught a strong breeze, the ship lurched to starboard and he fell face down on the hard oak deck...

Almost as soon as the captain fell, Commander Galligan came running up the galley stairs and onto the main deck…
“What’s happening?!” He called out to Commander Kerrislravenhill.
“Sairrr, I’m not sure!”
“!pimp The Captain’s down! The Captain’s down!” Cockpit Officer Trumpman hollered from the bridge.
”Whit?!” Galligan gasped in disbelief as he ran to the bridge stairs, “Stay on that wheel officer!”
Reaching the bridge deck Galligan quickly knelt down and slowly rolled the captain onto his back. It was then that he saw the dagger embedded in his shoulder.
By now, Kerrislravenhill stood behind him nervously along with Lieutenant Bleujay, Warrant Officer Gratefuleveryday and Standing Officer Bitcoinman.
“Bleujay, go down to sick bay and get Hack, a stretcher and six strong men!”
“Right away Sairrr!”
It didn’t take long for the ship’s surgeon to make his way up the bridge stairs, pushing and shoving seamen out of his way as he did…
“Git back ye mongrel dugs! Thes isnae a circus shaw! Oot o' th' ways!!” He barked in his usual courtly manner.
The officers made way for Hack as he knelt down beside the captain.
"Boggin heel Joshua!" He said quietly in a worried tone, his weathered face showing his emotional pain.
Taking a quick drag on a cigarette, he sized up the situation...

Thank you very much Commander. Your help will be important. Just try to breathe slowly so the smoke doesn't bother you. Hack seems to use smoke as an amulet. Well, it works for him. Everyone has been saved.
Galligan is in command now, we still have a bloody barnie on our hands!
