Hello everyone,
Today marked a beautiful return to Cyprus's renowned Nissi Beach. Despite most beach bars and restaurants remaining closed for the season, the stunning shoreline attracted quite a crowd eager to embrace the warming weather.
After enduring a surprisingly cold period on the island—with temperatures dropping to freezing during some nights—we finally enjoyed a glorious 25°C day. This sudden warmth has clearly awakened something in both locals and visitors alike, drawing everyone outdoors to celebrate the first hints of the approaching summer.
The most surprising sight was the number of brave souls venturing into the sea. While I only dipped my feet into the still-chilly Mediterranean waters, many swimmers took full plunges. One of our friends even jumped right in, proving the water is indeed bearable despite its cool temperature.
As we sat watching the waves and soaking up the sunshine with friends, there was a palpable sense of anticipation in the air. This Saturday excursion felt like a proper introduction to the season ahead—a welcome reminder that Cyprus's famous summer days are just around the corner.
Greetings and hear you!
