From Elsewhere: At last the MSM take an interest in London Grooming Gang allegations.

A lot of people on social media and elsewhere who are rightly concerned about the problem of Grooming Gangs and in particular the Islamic Rape Gangs have voiced the opinion that there is nothing that would exempt London from having a Grooming or Islamic Rape Gang problem. When you take into account London’s demographics, political leanings and how it is policed, it becomes less and less likely that London doesn’t have a Grooming Gang problem.

London is now a roiling pit of different ethicities, cultures and national origins, a goodly proportion of those people may well come from cultures that have a less than optimum opinion of women and their place in society. It’s quite possible that some from these more misogynistic cultures have not been successes for the ‘Magic Dirt’ theory of multiculturalism and migration which believes that as soon as a migrant sets foot on the shores of a Western nation then they will be civilised and abide by Western norms. The problem is reality doesn’t behave like that. London has always had some migration content to its population, but it has never been as large a proportion of London’s population as it is now. Previous migrants were encouraged to integrate by necessity for survival and there was also much greater control imposed on Britain’s borders than is the case today. Government’s used to make some effort to keep out wrong’uns but that’s not the case now seemingly. Now we have intransigent and hostile ghettos full of people who have moral compasses that differ greatly in what it says than the majority of Britons do. We have allowed to grow in places like London communities that disparage women, LGB people, the law, the wider community, the city environment itself, the British people, the nation and the nation’s history. Would you be willing to put your hand on your heart and say that people who are so profoundly morally and ethically cut off from ‘us’ are unlikely to represent a potential problem with regards sexual offences? I wouldn’t. I’d see it as an aggravating factor.

It’s not just demographics that make it likely that there are Grooming Gangs of the sort we’ve seen in numerous other places in Britain, it’s also who and what governs London. London is primarily a Labour voting city and contains seats, such as those in the London Borough of Newham that have been Labour for as long as the seat has been in existence and sometimes prior to that in predecessor constituencies. Some of these Labour run areas and including the Labour Party one party states such as Newham also have very large and voluble Moslem populations. Labour relies on that Moslem vote to stay in power although in some London constituecies Labour are being challenged by nakedly sectarian Islamic parties. Labour need to keep their vote bank on side therefore it may well act as a hindrance to local councils and the increasingly politicised local police forces, to deal effectively with Grooming Gangs or even acknowledge their existence.

The distinct possibly that London may be as afflicted by Grooming Gangs and Islamic Rape Gangs, because of similarities between London and other places which have been afflicted with these sorts of crimes has been a subject of discussion among those interested in this subject for a long while now. Some brave politicians such as Susan Hall the Conservative leader on London’s assembly have spoken up about this issue but has been stonewalled on the subject by Greater London Mayor Sadiq Khan. The mainstream media has either not done a great deal about this potential story or have covered it in a half hearted way sometimes relying on alleged ‘whistleblowers’ some of whom may be of dubious provanence and honesty.

Now however a story with a papertrail, which is what is needed, has been published in the Daily Express. They submitted a Freedom Of Information Request (FOI) to Hounslow Council (Labour since 1968) and the council inadvertantly revealed that despite previous denials the council were aware of at least one grooming gang case in their borough.

The Daily Express’s Investigations Reporter Zack Garner-Purkis has in an opinion piece in the paper called out Mayor Khan’s denial of grooming gang activity as ‘ludicrous’. This is a very strong position for a journalist on a Fleet Street paper to take, especially these days, post Leveson when media outlets have become far too wary of controversy.

Here’s the link to the whole Express story.

Mr Garner-Purkis said:

The first cracks are starting to appear in what was always a ludicrous narrative. Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has taken the position that “there are no reported cases and also no indication of grooming gangs in London.”

Mr Garner Purkis went onto question the idea that Grooming Gangs would not make up a part of London’s criminal activity. He asked why other places would be affected by this problem and not London? He also said what many of us may have suspected and that any grooming activity that is going on may well have been deliberately hidden from the public.

Mr Garner-Purkis has backed up his claim by way of the FOI which he said stated that there had been an investigation into a child being groomed but there was ultimately no action by the police and the case had been closed. This information, which may have been inadvertantly included on the FOI response from Hounslow Council, runs counter to a previous statement from the council claiming that there had been no grooming gang activity in their borough.

Mr Garner-Purkis added:

Hounslow Council revealed in a Freedom of Information request, probably by accident, that it knew of a three-year police investigation into a grooming gang that affected one of its residents. However, when they were asked about grooming gangs in June, the Labour council said it had “no concerns.”fronted with the information they’d let slip in an FOI, Shantanu Rajawat, the local authority’s leader, clarified that they’d not disclosed the case because they “didn't want to create panic.” He went on to reveal that “a lot of the cases are dealt with by a specialist team within the Met” and that “behind the scenes” there was “a lot of work going on.”

‘Didn’t want to create panic’. What an odd phrase from that council’s leader. What could possibly be a cause of panic about this particular investigation? If it was an investigation that had found no evidence then why was it not included for completeness? It would have at least given the impression of transparency if the council had said ‘we’ve no current cases but there was one investigation that led nowhere’. Being caught out like this just increases suspicion that there is more wrong going on in Hounslow than if they’d just come clean at the beginning.

In his opinion piece Mr Garner-Purkis is quite vehement about Hounslow council accusing them of trying to minimise the severity of the situaiton by saying ‘Nothing to see here; just one kid, and the charges were dropped.’ Mr Garner-Purkis was remarkably pungent in his criticism of Hounslow council and it will be interesting to see where this story goes.

I’m very pleased to see that the Express has taken up this story. Like others I don’t believe Khan’s bluster about this matter. His bluster doesn’t make him look ignorant or uninformed or actively opposing what might be going on, it just makes Khan look even shiftier than he normally does. Logically there is something nasty of the Grooming Gang kind going on in London, it can’t have escaped what has afflicted other less populated places which have similar social, demographic and cultural issues. It’s highly likely that London could have Grooming Gang problems and when the story breaks it might be so huge a story that not even the worst of the MSM will be able to completely ignore it. What happened in Rotherham, Rochdale, Telford and Oxford and many other places, might be considerably worse in London. This story could be the horror of horrors of Britain’s already awful Grooming Gang problems.
