I originated from the planet Krypton. As a baby, I was sent to Earth in a small spaceship by my biological family, Jor-El and Lara, moments before my home planet was destroyed in a natural cataclysm.

My ship landed in the American countryside; I was found and adopted by farmers Jonathan and Martha Kent near the small town of Smallville, who named me RENTMONEY !
