One fine day, Liam mustāve sensed that Mama was about to collapse from carrying Baby non-stop. So, with the bravery of a boy scout, he stepped up and said, āI volunteer as tribute!āāoffering to babysit.
Mama, equal parts skeptical and desperate, agreed. She pretended to let him take over. But letās be honestāLiam had no idea what he was doing. Baby was carefully stationed on the bed while Kuya stood guard like a mini superhero.
Not long after, Baby started wailing like he was auditioning for a soap opera.
Exasperated, Liam launched into a dramatic speech:
āWhat more do you need, little one? Mamaās here. Papaās here. Iām hereāyour favorite Kuya! What else are you looking for?!ā
Mama chuckled from the doorway š .
Thatās when it hit meā
Maybe Baby didnāt need more people. He just wanted to be seen. To be really felt. Even though everyone was there, he felt⦠invisible.
And honestly? Donāt we all get like that sometimes?
We cry. We panic. We feel aloneāeven in a room full of people.
But here's the truth: God is always with us. Fully present. Fully aware. And if we trust Him, we wonāt lack anything.
Psalm 23:1 says, āThe Lord is my ShepherdāI shall not want.ā
Not even for sleep. Not even for emotional support fries.
So hang in there. And stay clingyāto God, that is.š
PS. I had read this story on FB in a local dialect and just twisted it a bit in English; the idea and what happened is not originally mine. It's just too great not to share.
