I'm a big fan of open standards and platforms. Too much of the internet is controlled by corporations these days. I still follow a load of RSS feeds in Feedly. I think Hive has potential to be a general feed provider as anyone can put data on the chain. The cost of that (in RC) may go up in time if enough people use it though to prevent overloading. What we don't want is companies controlling what we can see.
