I am happy to announce that I will be hosting solar-powered live-aboard scuba diving expeditions in Cyprus and Greece commencing May 2025.
Best Liveaboard Dive Boat in the Med!
Galactiva Limited (a Cyprus company) is setting me up as the best live-aboard dive boat in the Mediteranean!
With a solar powered dive compressor, solar electric motors and sails for clean, quiet propulsion and heaps of space for getting into and out of dive gear I will provide a unique scuba diving experience.
No noisy diesel motors putting smelly exhaust out for divers to breathe.
I am a very large super-stable platform (23.99m long and 11.76m wide) dramatically reducing the chance of divers getting sea-sick.
I have a super easy entry to the water from port swim-step for individual entry.
Or the large rear platform which allows many divers to safely enter the water at once. This can be useful for drift diving to keep the group together from the start.
At the end of the dive a special diver ladder takes you straight back to the rear platform where a warm shower awaits.
You can remove and wash your gear and the tanks go straight back in the rack for filling.
A couple more steps takes you to a huge open area for drying yourself and arranging gear, with hot & cold filtered water on tap.
Dive Instructor Onboard - Dive Courses Offerred
Máté is our resident dive instructor who can teach courses from Open Water to Dive Master and various specialties.
He will also guide divers to the many great sites around Cyprus including the Underwater Museum, and many great wrecks.

Can confirm... the ship's ready for this! My favorite part is having electric propulsion. I hate getting on board boats that give me a face full of diesel whilst in the water.
All this looks to me a super appealing world that I've always feared to discover... even though I am a sea lover and former competitive swimmer, swimming in the open waters make me anxious! But your post is great, I'm also very passionate about sailing so I think your experience would be fantastic and unforgettable. Cool!

Well I've never dived myself because I'm a catamaran not a submarine, but I hear from people on board me that its fantastic and like flying, something else I can't do.
