Famous Meissen porcelain

in #travel6 days ago (edited)

When I visited Dresden I found some Porcelain from Meissen in a shop that was really beautiful. I love hummingbirds and that's why I really liked the porcelain picture in the shop window. Almost 8000 € for a piece of porcelain with hummingbirds painted on it. Yes it is really beautiful made but the price is crazy. If it were a lot cheaper I would probably buy it since I love hummingbirds.

I need to find some other cheaper hummingbird objects for my home. :-)

Its signature logo, the crossed swords, was introduced in 1720 to protect its production; the mark of the swords is reportedly one of the oldest trademarks in existence. - Meissen porcelain Wikipedia
