Discovering the House of Nature in Salzburg

in #worldmappin11 days ago

Hey everyone, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new contribution and hope your day has brought numerous interesting experiences into your lifes so far! In my new contribution, I decided to share an experience with you which I have made in Austria and I am happy if you can learn new things.

While I was in Austria in the city of Salzburg, I decided to visit the house of nature, which was in any case much larger than I had expected and is almost unbeatable in diversity. Not without reason it has even developed into one of the most popular museums of the country which in addition to the permanent exhibitions also offers changing ones and a part has been interactively designed so that visitors can immerse themselves even more in the matter and I would roughly say that there is something for every age group here. A highlight is definitely also that some living animals can be seen here and there are many different areas that are illuminated here such as the course of evolution, science, medicine or minerals as well as many other things and the interior looks extremely authentic and the rooms were designed to match the theme. There is so much to learn here and who should play with the idea of visiting the museum should plan at least three hours of time and there is also extremely much to read here and for people who are in a hurry the museum is definitely nothing and I would say that it's also possible to spend a whole day here without any problems.

In the museum there is also the possibility to take a break in between and drink a coffee or tea and within the building, there are several floors to explore which present thousands of objects. Active work is also done at the museum and every few years there are more or less smaller restorations and it's also important to mention that it's not only about educational purposes, but also about research and the museum has different cooperations with research institutions where it's about finding ways to improve the world. The museum is open almost every day during the week and there are only a few days when it cannot be visited such as on certain holidays and if you want to play it safe, you should always take a look at the website to avoid complications.

Depending on the group of people, the price is extremely fair for what is offered and a normal ticket costs 15€, but I have to mention that it is also included in the Salzburg Card which I can in any case highly recommend to every visitor to the city. Unlike other City Cards, pretty much everything is included here and it's definitely worth buying this card because people can save so much money and I have already made experience with other City Cards and here is in any case the most offered and it can be bought pretty much everywhere in the city in different places. In any case, I can only recommend a visit to this museum and I am sure that there is the right thing for everyone and a big plus point for me is in any case the diversity of the museum and not without reason it's one of the most popular sights in the country.

Blessed weekend to you friend and great job again

Thank you so much!

Wow the museum is actually so full of nature, I like the pictures and I'm sure you really had a great time

I had! Hope you are going to visit it also in the future

There is a bit of everything I'd say! Insects there too?

Yes, there was also collection of living ones!

We also go to places with natural views, we get to see a lot of things that are much more beautiful and our experience also continues to grow.

Happy to read your kind words

Thanks alot.

Wow they all really looking so beautiful

Thanks for stopping by and your feedback

That is a really cool museum, a mix of just about everything. Even some nice minerals! If I'm ever in Salzburg that looks like fun place to visit!

There was so much to see! :)

(You can easily spend a whole day there.) Well, this animal looks very happy, hahaha. Look at her, she has a sweet expression. Maybe the days are just minutes for her in the museum hahaha.
Jokes aside: museums are interesting and enjoyable places, so much so that time flies by without us even realizing it.

That’s a good point, it feels like time passes much faster there!
