The question is what you advertise in the newspaper these days. Does the newspaper still exist? Who still has a subscription if all the information can be found "for free" and if not, there is always someone who has to report the news.
We recently discussed the phenomenon of the newspaper. So common during the time that I was growing up. A nice piece of paper that my father hid behind all Saturday. Men also read the newspaper in the toilet, even though it was a nice piece of paper. Then the newspaper declined and became half the size because the free newspaper and the "Metro" were too. Then it was given the layout of an average gossip magazine. A magazine that was always despised because it was full of made-up nonsense. Isn't that called lying or conspiracy? Journalism has also died out in the meantime. The latest news is often 8 years old and comes from America and is definitely not interesting. Often, something with dressed-up dogs or the hero of the month, someone who saved someone from the water 12 years ago. Those small ads.. you know: man looking for a pretty woman who does everything and brings a fat bank account and is therefore nice and independent when she washes, cooks, irons, does the shopping and also raises the children while I go on holiday with my friends, that is not paid for anymore. The only thing that is still advertised is the supermarket, not that it is necessary, and the amusement parks. Such a lousy park around the corner because the entrance to all the others with a family is just as expensive as being in a hotel on the beach in Turkey for 3 weeks.
